COSMETIC TATTOO AFTER CARE

  1. Do not rinse with water for at least 48 hours. After then wash 2 daily with a gentle antibacterial soap.     Rinse and blot dry. Keep the area clean and dry, blot any lymphatic fluid with clean pads to prevent hard  crust from developing.

  2. For days 3-10, apply a post care cream on eyebrows at least 1 time a day on fully DRY skin being careful     not to apply to much and suffocate skin, use a Q-tip.

  3. Your skin will experience dryness and flaking in the next 7-10 days. REFRAIN from picking it. Picking can  cause scarring and pigment loss! Instead, apply the post care cream.

  4. Do not use any creams, exfoliator, heavy face creamers, or makeup on the eyebrow while it is healing.    Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct     sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.

  5. Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers, and/or hot baths for 7-10 days.

  6. Avoid sweating on your face for 7-10 days. Sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.

  7. Keep your bangs and hair pulled back from your face for the first 7-10 days.

  8. When completely healed, you can apply sun block on your eyebrows because sun exposure might cause fading of color pigmentation quickly

  •  Please note: Eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and sharper due to natural scabbing and healing for the first week. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.

  • Any sign of a yellow-tinged discharge, excessive redness, hot around the area, excessive pain and swelling could be a sign of the beginning of an infection. Seek care from your physician immediately

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS CAREFULLY:

Micropigmentation is a form of cosmetic tattooing intended to be semi-permanent, lasting an average 1-2   years. On a rare occasion, the pigment may migrate under the skin. The procedure of micropigmentation may   be uncomfortable. Although extremely rare, there is a chance of an immediate or delayed allergic reaction to   the pigment. A negative patch test result does NOT guarantee that you will NOT develop an allergic reaction  after the full procedure. Allergic reaction to the anesthetic can occur. Permanent/semi-permanent cosmetics cannot be performed if you are pregnant, nursing, or under the age of 18, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Infections can occur if after care instructions are not followed correctly. There may be swelling or    redness following the procedure and you may experience minor bleeding. If you have an MRI scan within 3 months after the micropigmentation procedure, you should notify/discuss with your doctor. Possible scarring  may occur.

The complete healing process takes about 6-8 week, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident.   During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten 30-50%. Be patient, even if you think too much color  has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6 weeks to see the true color, as it seems to take on new strength. Only after 6-8 weeks can your touch-up/adjustment be done.    Failure to follow instructions may result in pigment color loss.  All cosmetic tattooing procedures are a          two-step process.

Below is typically what you can expect after your microblading session(s)
